HSE Assistant / Synergi Administrator

Base - Aberdeen

Roles & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• The HSE Assistant / Synergi Administrator will assist the HSE Manager and HSE Officers in the administration management aspects of the HSE Department.
• The HSE Assistant / Synergi Administrator will prepare statistical information regarding health, safety and environmental matters for presentation to Company Management and Clients.
• Prepare Safety statistics to be distributed to the fleet on a monthly basis.
• Track all fleet incident and accidents, and record as necessary. Update/maintain HSE dashboard on daily basis and provide Operations with weekly update
• Synergi Administrator for the company. Produce monthly action status figures to be distributed to management.
• Assist company-wide with the input of data, tracking of actions and continuous training for the Synergi system.
• Act as the main focal point with DNV in relation to all Synergi issues/upgrades etc. and attend Synergi User Group meetings on behalf of Stena Drilling.
• The HSE Assistant / Synergi Administrator will track all internal audits and maintain the Company Internal Audit Schedules.
• The HSE Assistant / Synergi Administrator will compile monthly Business Papers for submission on a timely basis.
• The HSE Assistant / Synergi Administrator will assist with the Stop Card of the Month.
• The HSE Assistant / Synergi Administrator will act as the DSE Assessor within the Base Office and ensure that DSE Assessment forms are completed.
• The HSE Assistant / Synergi Administrator will act as a First Aider
• Provide cover for the Management Systems Assistant, as and when necessary
• Assist with HSE statistics for all Tenders, Bids and Client requests as necessary.
• Arrange travel for department personnel.
• The HSE Assistant / Synergi Administrator will Track and record fleet NCR’s and report monthly to the Assistant Operations manager on the status.

Health, Safety & Environment
• Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s safety policies through leadership and guidance.
• Must be fully committed to preventing damage to the Environment and shall work in accordance with Stena Drilling’s HSE Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure conformance to company policies, local and international environmental laws relating to the operation of the Company.

• Ensure that Personal training needs identified are communicated to the HSE Manager along with justification for requirement.
• Assist in the conduct of training workshops for personnel by overseeing the administration and facilitation requirements.

• Will communicate regularly with all members of the HSE Department to discuss matters of concern.
• Will communicate with other Departments and Offshore Units to impart information as required.
